The nice thing about candid/documentary photography is that it looks more natural than posed. I have people doing prompts rather than stiff poses. It's ok if you don't know how to pose. I will help you every step of the way.

Depending on what kind of shoot we are doing this answer varies. However, I say this to all my clients, wear something you can move around in. Tight dresses and heels may not be the outfit for a shoot. If you are shooting with your partner, friends, or family, try to avoid prints on clothes. This helps with camera focusing and also puts the attention on your faces, no on the clothes.
